It is noted that the fire occurred on the roof of the town hall of the 12th district, located on a domil avenue. The flames swept the bell tower with a height of about 30 meters.
According to the Paris Paris Prefect Nunes, the ignition occurred on the top of the building. About 150 firefighters and 60 special vehicles were attracted to eliminate the fire. As of 08:30, the fire was localized local time. There are no information about the victims.
After the fire was eliminated, the Paris firefighters reported that part of the roof behind the spire would remain destroyed. At the scene there are architects who evaluate the risk of collapse of the bell tower and decide whether to install supports.
