“The activity (Russian Federation – ed.) on Chasovoy Yar has increased. In some places of the Siverskyi Donets canal, he (the enemy – ed.) blew up the canal pipes in order to create passages for the use of equipment for further assault actions, possibly even motorcycles, to establish logistical support for offensive units, including for offensive actions,” Zaporozhets said.
He noted that the enemy is thus trying to expand the line of combat engagement, namely in the direction of Chasovoy Yar.
In addition, Zaporozhets confirmed that the presence of the Russian special forces “Akhmat” and the formation “Rusich” was recorded on the southeastern outskirts in the direction of Chasovoy Yar. He noted that in the intercepts, the enemy is heard using military terminology, which indicates his training in assault operations and understanding of the use of assault units.
