Employees of the National Security Service of the National Police, the State Security Service, the Security Service and the Prosecutor’s Office exposed a criminal group that produced fake documents and sold them all over Ukraine. The extras face up to ten years in prison. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine. A 27-year-old resident of Prykarpattia organized the criminal business of selling fake documents. He involved other people from different regions in his activities. Among the assortment of forged documents produced by the accomplices: passport, driver’s license and vehicle registration certificate, various documents of institutions and organizations, service certificates of the National Police, State Emergency Service, National Guard, SBU. Advertising: The cost of forgery depended on the complexity of the document and the urgency of its production. So, for example, to make a driver’s license cost a little more than 8,000 hryvnias, a foreign passport – about 2,000 dollars. And for $1,500, those who wished could “become” employees of the SBU or the National Police. In particular, counterfeit military tickets were in great demand among customers. According to operational information, the profit of the perpetrators reached from 2 to 3 million hryvnias per month. The conspirators accepted and processed orders via Telegram. And in order not to get into the field of view of law enforcement officers, one-day SIM cards were used at work. Shipments were sent through mailboxes with missing video cameras all around and even at night. Advertising: Law enforcement officers conducted more than 30 searches of the persons involved, during which they discovered and seized incomplete “certificates” of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Guard, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service, UBD, seals of various state institutions, blanks passports, driver’s licenses, as well as sketches of seals with Russian symbols.
