“Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, an indictment was sent to court with respect to the entrepreneur upon seizure of another’s property through abuse of office, committed in particularly large amounts,” – the message reads.
As it is noted, the investigation found that in May 2023 the accused concluded with the Department of Civil Protection and Defense of the Kherson Regional State Administration for the supply and installation of reinforced concrete mobile shelters in the Kherson community.
The cost of the contract was over UAH 3.8 million and provided for the installation of 10 protective structures for civilians.
According to the prosecutor’s office, a few months later the entrepreneur provided official documents on the work performed. On the basis of these documents, he received budgetary funds for his accounts and disposed of them at his own discretion.
However, according to the investigation, on the basis of the examination conducted, the entrepreneur gave shelters that do not correspond to the technical characteristics.
