It is noted that on January 22, a 15-year-old resident of one of the districts of Zakarpattia region contacted the police and reported that she was raped by a 28-year-old friend last spring.
According to this fact, the investigators of the district police department started an investigation. The police interviewed the man the victim pointed to, and found out that the incident happened in March 2024. The minor drank alcoholic beverages together with a fellow villager, and later the latter raped the girl.
The police immediately detained the figure in procedural order and placed him in a temporary detention facility. Based on this fact, the investigators entered information into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 3 Art. 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine
The law enforcement officers reported that the investigation is currently ongoing.
Police officers also checked the fact that an underage child had consumed alcoholic beverages. As a result, an administrative protocol was drawn up on the parents for improper performance of their duties regarding the upbringing of the child – Art. 184 of the Labor Code of Ukraine.
