Ukrainian boxer, ex-world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk in an exclusive interview with Sport.ua shared his opinion about the prospects of compatriot Oleksandr Usyk in cruiserweight:
– If we talk about the return to cruiserweight, will Usyk be able to win against Opetai or Ramirez? Will it be difficult for Alexander to lose weight?
– Why can’t he? He had already done it once. Now he already has the experience of beating guys who are bigger and stronger than him. And here he will have to bend some 10 kilograms, which is actually not difficult at the professional level. I think it is even easier for him to do it now, because he has this experience, he has already been there and knows everything – Gvozdyk believes.
Earlier, Gvozdyk said that they want to fight with Usyk because of the huge money generated by the Ukrainian boxer.
