Poroshenko’s TV channel deleted a video with evidence of his business operations and tax payments in occupied Crimea – mass media

Channel 5, which is owned by People’s Deputy, the fifth President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, removed from its website a 2014 video with the head of the Sevastopol Marine Plant Kostyantyn Kartoshkin. He stated that Sevastopol has an uncertain and unclear status, and talked about orders from the Russian Federation, which the plant was waiting for, since the enterprise is export-oriented, reports UNN with reference to “Gordon”.

The newspaper reports that the journalists found the video in the archives and published a link to it.

The authors of the material claim that after the annexation of Crimea, “Sevmorzavod” corresponded with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. In it, Kartoshkin called Sevastopol “a Russian city of federal importance”, providing the Russian authorities with the company’s financial and economic reports.

Later, according to the publication, Poroshenko appointed Kartoshkin as the head of one of the largest state military factories – “Zorya-Mashproekt”.

“In fact, this is one of the proofs of Poroshenko’s cooperation with the Russian authorities, because they did not nationalize the factory belonging to him for a long time, although many other Ukrainian companies were nationalized immediately,” the article says.

On December 20, 2024, the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation informed in Telegram that Poroshenko was informed of suspicion of treason and facilitating the activities of terrorist organizations. According to the investigation, he is connected with the purchase of coal from the temporarily occupied territories of the ORDLO, which led to the financing of terrorists “LNR” and “DNR”, conducted business in Russia, paying taxes to the budget of the Russian Federation, which financed the army of the aggressor country.
