As of today, US military aid to Ukraine continues. This was stated by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georgy Tykhi, during a press conference, the correspondent reports UNN.

“As for the US military aid to Ukraine, this aid is currently ongoing. As for the specific amounts that remained in the presidential program, let’s watch the development of events. How will the contact between the Ukrainian and American sides take place again, but I am convinced that it is possible to solve all the issues that exist,” said Tykhi.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that, in general, military support from the US side of Ukraine is a strategic thing and it is strategically important for America itself.

“We are convinced of this, we convey it to the American side, that this support contributes to the stability of Europe and it is of key importance, including for achieving a just peace,” Tykhi said.

In addition, Tyhiy noted that, in general, Ukraine’s position is that the pressure on the aggressor state should consist of two components – economic and military.

Let’s add

During the Biden presidency, the USA did not have time to use almost 4 billion dollars to help Ukraine.

The other day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the situation in the east is difficult and that is where the largest number of Russian troops are. Ukraine had a big problem with the delay in the delivery of military aid from the US, and last year’s aid is still on its way.

In September 2024, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi told CNN in an interview that months-long delays in the delivery of American military aid led to critical shortages of ammunition and affected the morale of the Ukrainian military.

Trump signed an executive order temporarily suspending US foreign aid programs to review their compliance with political goals. The suspension will last 90 days and will affect $68 billion in aid in 204 countries.

The head of the Center for countering disinformation of the NSDC, Andriy Kovalenko, noted that the order on the temporary suspension of all US foreign aid programs signed by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, does not apply to the military support provided to Ukraine to counter the Russian aggression
