The Parisians, in turn, should have scored in the middle of the half, when Fabian Ruiz shot from a few meters into the penalty area, but Guardiol knocked the ball off the goal line with his knee.

City answered a little later: Savio broke into the penalty area at an angle and shot – Donnarumma was on the spot. The most interesting thing happened already in the compensated time before the first half: Mendes received the ball in front of Ederson and passed it to the center to Barkol, who rolled it to Hakimi, who hit the City goal. 1:0. However, the goal was disallowed due to an offside position in Barkol.

The teams went into the break with the scores tied, and early in the second half, Akanji burst down the right flank and fired a shot into the center – Donnarumma saved from Silva’s strike, but Grealish then fired over PSG. 0:1. After that, PSG went on the attack with big forces, and Luis Enrique tried to influence the game with substitutions. And, surprisingly, the hosts succeeded.
