In Davos, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, met with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof.
The head of state thanked the Netherlands for Ukraine’s support during the full-scale Russian invasion.
It is important for our country that the Netherlands adheres to the rule “nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine”. During the meeting, they discussed joint efforts to achieve a unified European approach to ensuring a strong position of Ukraine, as well as practical support for Ukrainian soldiers at the front.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Dick Schoof exchanged views on ensuring reliable security guarantees on the way to achieving lasting and sustainable peace.
Special attention is paid to investments in the Ukrainian defense industry. The President talked about the possible directions of such cooperation and initiatives in which the Netherlands can join. Among them is the Danish model. The leaders also focused on energy cooperation.
