A meeting between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the President of Argentina Javier Miley took place at the Ukrainian House in Davos.
The head of the Ukrainian state thanked for Ukraine’s constant support in the fight against Russian aggression. The leaders discussed joint coordination with partners to bring a just and lasting peace closer. Ukraine greatly appreciates Argentina’s full understanding and willingness to help.
“You are a very welcome guest in Ukraine. I invite you to get to know the Ukrainian people, they love you very much. I want you to see with your own eyes how Ukrainians are fighting and what they are going through during this war. And I really want Ukrainians to feel how much you respect them,” Volodymyr Zelenskyi said.
The leaders exchanged views on the latest international events and the development of cooperation with the United States after the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
The head of the Ukrainian state noted Argentina’s progress in implementing economic reforms and restoring economic potential, as well as reducing the level of poverty and inflation, and liberalizing foreign trade.
