Former world champion Mairis Briedis spoke about the possible return of Oleksandr Usyk to the cruiserweight weight category.

“If I were Oleksandr, I would finish my career undefeated and would not switch to cruiserweight. This is due to the fact that Usyk was gaining weight all the time. If he returns to cruiserweight, he will have to lose weight, and this is a great stress for the body,” Myris added.

Usyk has repeatedly stated that he wants to return to cruiserweight and once again become the absolute champion of the world. Previously, the famous promoter Eddie Hearn said that Opetaya should become a rival for Usyk.
