Pamela Hemphill, 71, of Boise, Idaho, who served 60 days in jail, said if she accepted the pardon it would be an insult to the Capitol Police.
According to the publication, Pamela Hemphill worked as a drug and alcohol addiction counselor. In January 2022, she pleaded guilty to felony trespassing at the Capitol during the riots and was sentenced to 60 days in jail and three years of probation.
She said she did not want a pardon
“Absolutely not,” Pamela Hemphill said in an interview on Wednesday, January 22.

The 71-year-old Ms. Hemphill, who some headlines called “Grandma MAGA,” said she no longer supports Mr. Trump and doesn’t believe his lies that the 2020 election was stolen. She said a therapist helped her change her attitude about the attack, saying she was “not a victim on January 6; I was a volunteer.”
