According to the press service of the department, it was established that representatives of the Ukrainian chemical plant arranged wholesale supplies of fertilizers and minerals for the agricultural industry of the Russian Federation – during the years 2022-2024, they illegally transported their own products to Russia in the amount of 1.8 million US dollars.
The Security Service of Ukraine notes that among the key Russian customers were one of the largest companies of the aggressor country’s agro-industrial complex – “Schyolkovo Agrochem” and “Alterit”, since February 2022 more than 216 tons of chemical products have been delivered to Russian enterprises.
During searches of the places of work and residence of the persons involved, documents, mobile phones and computer equipment with evidence of equipment were found.
Investigators of the Security Service informed the head of the Cherkasy company about the suspicion of h. 1 Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (assistance to the aggressor state), the investigation is ongoing.
In March 2022 – after the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion – legislative changes came into force, which introduced criminal liability for cooperation with the aggressor state in the information, educational, political, military, administrative, economic and labor spheres.
