The artist answered that she was prompted to participate in the selection abroad.As you know, the day before it became known that GRISANA, which was on the longlist of the National Selection in Ukraine and could represent our country at Eurovision, applied for a casting in San Marino. The fact is that FIЇNKA became the 10th finalist in Ukraine, so GRISANA was eliminated from the song contest. Therefore, the girl decided not to miss the opportunity and try her hand at the selection abroad. She did not explain why San Marino.
However, in a comment for the Telegram channel, “Eurovision House” indicated that it was prompted by fans to take such a step. Like, they were the ones who asked the girl to once again try to win the right to perform at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland.
“You asked – I did. Every minute I received messages that you want to see me in the selection. Let’s call it a move that my audience and I decided to make. It’s a kind of sleight of hand to make a little noise in San Marino,” the singer said.
Also, the performer did not reveal with which song she will participate in the selection in this country. In Ukraine, she tried to get to the finals with the composition “Kohoney”, but the authors of the Telegram channel assume that GRISANA will appear in San Marino with a different track.
By the way, the Ukrainian woman will participate in online auditions abroad already today, January 22. The final selection will take place on February 23, where one winner will be chosen from among three applicants. Another Ukrainian artist TESLENKO also takes part in the San Marino casting. Previously, he was a member of the National Selection in Ukraine, but later withdrew his candidacy at his own request. After that, it became known that he is a participant in the selection abroad.
