Fans can’t wait to snap up a ticket to see Mick and the boysCredit: AFPThe Stones – who were formed in 1962 – will play four UK dates at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as part of their European tour.
Sir Mick Jagger, 81, Keith Richards, 81, and Ronnie Wood, 77, haven’t played on UK soil since 2022, so their fans will be thrilled to hear about their homecoming.
The Jumpin’ Jack Flash stars – who have a combined age of 239 – return to England after wowing American concertgoers with a major run of sold-out shows from Houston to Missouri.
Speaking about The Rolling Stones’ homecoming, an insider told the Daily Mail: “Mick, Keith, and Ronnie can’t wait to bring the show to UK audiences.
“They’ve been planning it for months and are itching to get back out on the road and do what they do best, which is perform.”
“All three of them feel so alive when they are in front of a stadium full of fans. It keeps them young.
“They want to show everybody that they have still got it. It is going to be amazing.”
An official announcement is reportedly expected in the coming weeks, and will also include dates in Barcelona, Rome, Amsterdam, and Paris.
Tickets are expected to cost around £250 a pop, but this is still to be confirmed.
The Sun was the first to reveal that The Stones would be bringing their tour to the UK.
In November an insider told us “The Stones had phenomenal success on their North American Hackney Diamonds tour and there is no doubt their European shows will pack the same punch.
“Mick, Keith and Ronnie have now signed off on the shows which will take place across stadiums next year.
“The announcement will be coming in the next few weeks.
“It means any British fans who couldn’t get over to the US to see them play will get a chance to watch them closer to home.

Ronnie also let slip that the group were working on new dates in an interview which was sent to The Sun by a fellow Stones fan.
He said: “With The Stones, we’re hoping for a tour of Europe next year.
“I’ve also been in the studio with The Faces last week and we’re making some continued developments with the music we made back in the day and it still sounds like no time has gone by.”
