The Russian military failed to maintain its position on the territory of the refractory plant in the city of Chasiv Yar. At present, shooting battles continue in the area of the enterprise.

According to him, the troops of the Russian Federation are continuing assault operations in the direction. Weather conditions, in particular fog and limited visibility, contributed to the concentration of Russian forces in the northern part of the city.
“Gradually, having destroyed positions in this area, the enemy decided that he could storm the territory of the refractory plant. Accumulating, gathering in one place, a blow was struck and the positions and manpower of the enemy were destroyed. So far, the enemy has not managed to gain a foothold on the territory of the refractory plant,” Zaporozhets said.
He emphasized that last day the Russian forces carried out 133 shellings in the Kramatorsk direction, but the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation do not give the Russian military the opportunity to implement a certain set of measures to secure the territory of the plant.
On January 21, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that nine battles took place in the Kramatorsk direction in the area of Chasovoy Yar and in the direction of Stupochky on January 20.
According to the data of the Khortytsia Security Service, units of the Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in Stupochky, Krymsky and Ozaryanivka areas. Some positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed as a result of the assaults and fire of the occupiers.
