Together with him, the Minister of Health, the Minister of Culture and Tourism and the head of the emergency services arrived at the scene of the fire.
The government also announced that the investigation will be conducted by the prosecutor’s office of Bolu province, where the resort is located.
Some tourists from the hotel, with whom journalists have already talked, say that they did not suspect the danger until the last, until they heard calls for help from the corridor – the fire alarm did not work. By that time, there was already acrid thick smoke in the corridor and on the stairs, they could hardly get out.
What preceded: The fire started in the middle of the night in the hotel at the Kartalkaya Ski Center ski resort. At first, ten dead were reported.
