Manager Mick Francis, who is involved in the organization of fights, confirmed this information:
“We are currently considering several candidates for the WBO title fight. We are interested in the match with Itauma. He is a talented boxer, but his skills are inferior to Justice. I believe that Huni and Itauma are the next generation of super heavyweights. They don’t impress with their size, but they surprise with their mobility,” said Francis.
In the ranking of the World Boxing Organization, Itauma is ranked sixth, and Huni is ranked fifth. The champion in this version is the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, who will have to meet with the holder of the interim title, but this may not happen before the end of the current year, as Khuni plans to hold his next fight in May.
