Badosa beat Goff in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open and advanced to the semifinals

On January 21, the third racket of the world Coco Goff (USA) was dating a Spanish woman Paula Badosa (Spain, WTA 12) in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open.

The first set started with Goff winning serve before Badosa won her serve. This continued for the next 10 games. At 5:5, Koko lost her serve and Badosa took hers, allowing her to win the set 5:7.

The second set started with a lost serve by Goff. Only in the fourth game did the American win her opponent’s serve, but in the next she gave her back again. As a result, Paula Badosa was able to control the game, forcing Coco to make frequent mistakes. The final score of the second set was 4:6 in favor of Badosa, who advanced to the semifinals.

The game lasted one hour and 44 minutes (51 minutes 1 set and 53 minutes 2 sets).

Badosa will meet the winner of the match between Arina Sobolenko and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the semifinals.
