From the beginning of 2025, more entrepreneurs will be able to receive assistance under the “Own business” program. This is reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. “Own business” is a government program for creating new jobs and starting or expanding one’s own business. Since 2025, the program has become available to entrepreneurs engaged in the production or trade of still wines and mead drinks. The amount of the grant is from 50 to 250 thousand.Advertisement: Separate conditions apply to combatants, persons with disabilities as a result of the war, husbands or wives of combatants or fallen defenders. Provided that 1-4 jobs are created, the amount of the grant for such persons can range from 250,000 to 1 million. Grant funds can be spent on the purchase or leasing of equipment, the purchase of raw materials and materials, and the rental of premises. You can apply through the Diya portal. Veterans and their spouses who receive the grant must return the amount of the grant in the form of taxes and fees paid to the budget within seven years.
