23-year-old biathlete of the French national team, Jeanne Richard, shared her thoughts on the third place in the mass start as part of the fifth stage of the World Cup in Ruhpolding, Germany. 
For the first time in her career, the athlete was on the podium in the personal starts of the CS.
Prior to this race, Richard’s best result in the competition was fourth place in the mass start this season at the Annecy stage.
“It was very difficult, because both rivals are excellent finishers. I am not a master at this, but I did everything I could in the master start. This turned out to be enough,” Richard answered.
Next, the sixth stage of the World Cup awaits the biathletes, which will begin with the women’s sprint in Antholzen, Italy.
