Immediately after the renewal and successful testing of the exchange with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, we plan to restore deferments for students and graduate students,” she wrote.

Online deferment service for undergraduates and postgraduates: what is knownAs UNIAN reported, in November 2024 in the “Rezerv+” application, they began testing online deferment for certain categories of Ukrainians, including students and graduate students. At that time, the Ministry of Defense reported that the launch of this service in the application would take place in “a few days”.
On December 17, the Ministry of Defense announced that students and scientists will temporarily be unable to apply for a deferment to Reserve+ due to a failure in the Unified State Electronic Database. As reported, technical work on the electronic database is expected to be completed by December 30.
On December 19, 2024, the largest external cyber attack on the state registers of Ukraine took place in recent times. The Deputy Prime Minister-Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna then reported that as a result of the attack, the work of the Unified and State Registers under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was temporarily suspended, and it would take at least 2 weeks to restore them.
On January 5, Chernogorenko reported that the “Reserve +” application managed to restore the postponement of mobilization for parents with many children after a cyberattack on state registers.
