In the southern direction, the Hoverla mobile fire group of border guards of the 79th detachment tracks and destroys enemy drones of the Shahed type around the clock. This is reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.
According to border guards, the enemy usually launches drones from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, so the main attention is focused on the airspace over the water.
Although it is extremely difficult to shoot down “Shakhed” with small arms, it becomes possible thanks to the coordinated work of numerous mobile crews and a high density of fire.
The defenders assure that despite the difficulties, they continue to effectively resist enemy attacks in the south of the country.
As ArmiyaInform reported, a large-scale night attack: the Armed Forces shot down 93 kamikaze drones in 12 regions.
