“the Russians did not achieve their goal. We restored the key registers for notaries step by step, then DRATSS, EDR, and now the work on restoring the last part of the registers has been completed. The final step is the updating of the data entered during the restoration, which is already being done by the specialists of the executive service and private performers. I will emphasize once again that the Ukrainians’ data were not lost,” the minister noted in the post.
Stefanishyna also pointed to the dismissal of Oleksiy Berezhny, the head of State Enterprise “National Information Systems”.
“The criminal proceedings, which were opened immediately after the attack, are still ongoing. The NAIS audit was conducted for the first time, and it has already been completed. In addition, an official investigation is ongoing,” writes Stefanishyna.
She also mentioned strengthening the protection of state registers. In particular, after the cyber attack, the Verkhovna Rada supported in the first reading draft law No. 11290, according to which a professional network of cyber security specialists will be created in all state institutions that process important data of Ukrainians.
