ESPN: Usyk may end his career in 2025

Journalists are sure that the Ukrainian champion has nothing more to prove in the ring”, — write: sport.ua

Edition ESPN published an article in which it made bold predictions for 2025 – journalists surprised with their thoughts on the career of the super heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. The publication believes that the champion from Ukraine will end his professional career this year:

“Usyk has nothing more to prove and no one else to fight after practically wiping out the top of the heavyweight division. The Olympic champion defeated Anthony Joshua twice and added two victories over Tyson Fury last year.

After this success, Daniel Dubois entered the ring to offer a rematch, which the Ukrainian accepted. But will Usyk be motivated for a second fight with an opponent whom he has already dominated and stopped with a jab?

Of course, there are other battles for Alexander. If Parker defeats DuBois, Usyk can fight Joseph for the title that was taken from him and become the absolute champion again.

But this year, the champion will turn 38 years old, during his brilliant career he earned a nine-figure sum and, perhaps, he has no desire to return to the ring,” journalists believe.
