In the evening of January 18, a Russian attack by Shaheds continued in Ukraine, and the Air Force twice warned about the threat of ballistic weapons. During the first time, the occupiers attacked Kharkiv Oblast
21:34 The Air Force has updated the data on the Shahed over Ukraine:
- UAV on the border of the Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions, heading north-west;
- UAVs in the west, in the center and in the east of Kharkiv Oblast move on a westerly course;
- Unmanned aerial vehicle in the north of the Zaporizhia region, Zaporizhia movement vector.

At 5:59 p.m., the Air Force announced a ballistic missile threat from the northeast for a number of regions, and three minutes after that, an explosion rang out in Kharkiv. Later it became known that the occupiers attacked the Kharkiv and Chuguyiv districts, as a result of which a fire broke out in a two-story building in the Vysochan community of the Kharkiv district. There is currently no information about the victims.
At 18:00, the Air Force warned about the threat of shazeds in the Sumy and Poltava regions.
At 18:25, according to the Air Force, one shaheed was moving in the direction of Myrhorod from the northeast, and another shaheed in the Shishakiv district of Poltava region was moving south.
At 6:33 p.m., the Air Force announced that the threat of ballistic missiles had been repulsed, while announcing that the threat of Shahed remains for the Sumy and Poltava regions.
At 6:55 p.m., the Air Force announced the repulse of the threat in the Sumy region.
At 7:29 p.m., the Air Force announced a missile threat in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions, and three minutes later — a ballistic threat in a number of regions where an air alert was declared.
At 19:51, the Air Force wrote that there was a threat of Shaheds in the Kharkiv region.

At 8:48 p.m., the Air Force said that groups of Shaheds in Kharkiv Oblast are moving in the west and southwest directions, and Shaheds in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast are moving in a southwest direction toward Zaporizhzhia.
As of 8:52 p.m., an air alert continues in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
