On the second anniversary of the plane crash in Brovary, Kyiv region, memorial events were held in the regions of Ukraine.

The memory of all the victims of the plane crash was honored by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, together with the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, heads of central executive bodies, relatives and friends of the victims.

Among the dead are the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, employees of the department, crew members and civilians

On January 18, 2023, 14 people tragically lost their lives as a result of a helicopter crash in Brovary, Kyiv region.

Debris from the helicopter hit a residential building and damaged parked cars. Killed: 10 people who were in the helicopter and four more civilians, including one child.

As a result of the accident, the Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, his deputy Yevhen Yenin, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuriy Lubkovich, assistant officials and the crew were killed.

The government created a commission to investigate the plane crash in Brovary.

The SBI completed the pre-trial investigation of the plane crash in November 2023: it was established that officials of the State Emergency Service had committed flagrant violations of the rules of traffic safety and operation of air transport.

Five officials of the State Emergency Service appeared before the court for negligence that led to the plane crash.
