“One person got in touch. Two more are considered missing. Search operations are ongoing,” the press service noted.
On the morning of January 18, the Russian military launched missile strikes on Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, local authorities reported.
10 people were injured as a result of Russian shelling of an infrastructure object in Zaporizhzhia. Residential buildings, administrative buildings and private transport were damaged, Ivan Fedorov, the head of Zaporizhzhya OVA, informed.
“One woman is in serious condition. Two more women and three men are in moderate condition. All the injured are in the hospital. Doctors provide the necessary assistance. Five ambulance crews are working at the scene of the hits,” the official wrote.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are targeted.
