Ukrainians who were recognized as being of limited fitness by May 4, 2024, must undergo a second medical examination by February 4 of this year. Otherwise, they will have a “wanted” status in the “Reserve+” application.

The Ministry reminds that those with limited fitness must re-pass the VLC within 9 months from the date of entry into force of Law No. 3621, i.e. until February 4, 2025 inclusive.
Failure to comply with the norm is a violation of military accounting rules or legislation on defense, mobilization training and mobilization. For this, a fine in the amount of 1,000 to 1,500 of the tax-free minimum income of citizens can be imposed – or from 17 to 25,500 hryvnias.
If a person with the status of “limited suitability” does not pass a re-examination by February 5, the electronic military registration document in “Reserve+” will remain unchanged. However, if the TCC sends a summons to pass the VLC, and the conscript does not fulfill the conditions of this summons, the “wanted” status will be displayed in “Reserve+”.
In connection with the abolition of the status of “limited suitability” for military service in Ukraine, new statuses of conscripts were developed. They are determined by the Military Medical Commission (MMC).
In September 2024, the Command of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces issued a directive prohibiting the mobilization of “limited fit” men aged 18 to 25 without their consent.
