“Davidson Morais recalled his communication with Andriy Stetsenko”, — write: sport.ua
– It was a very important moment for me, because during the injuries I was humiliated by the general director of the club, implying that I only receive money and do nothing. After the departure of coach Protasov, the situation became much more difficult for me. Today, for the first time, I can speak frankly about it. In that match, I came back on the field, played a great game and was voted the best player by many. It was the moment when my value in the team was finally seen.
– Are you talking about the then general director Andrii Stetsenko?
– Yes, I am talking about him. He was a nasty, rude person who put me down a lot with words and actions during this period because of my injuries.
Morais joined Dnipro from Greek side Olympiakos in 2006. The Brazilian spent two and a half years in Dnipro and played a total of 35 official matches in Ukraine.
