The national biathlon team of Ukraine showed the best result of the season in the men’s relay, which took place at the fifth stage of the World Cup in Ruhpolding, Germany. The team, which consisted of Dmytro Pidruchny, Vitaly Mandzin, Anton Dudchenko and Taras Lesyuk, finished sixth. 
The Ukrainians showed high-quality shooting, using only seven additional rounds for eight firing ranges.
The French won the relay, the Swedes came second, the Germans came third.
On Saturday, January 17, the women’s relay will continue the competition in Ruhpolding.
On Sunday, the competition program will be completed by races with a mass start.
