A child born in 2012 was injured in one of the populated areas as a result of falling fragments of downed targets during an attack by Russian UAVs on the Kyiv region, said the acting deputy. Mykola Kalashnyk of Kyiv Regional State Administration.

“The boy is suspected of having a contusion and a torn thigh wound. He was admitted to the hospital. The child is provided with all the necessary medical assistance,” he said.

Also, according to Kalashnyk, “falling debris caused a fire in the cafe shop and the attached boiler room on an area of almost 200 square meters. The fire is now contained. The blast wave damaged the glazing of the neighboring house.”

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
