On the night of February 15, there will be a championship fight in lightweight (up to 61.2 kg) – the winner of the WBO title will meet in the ring Denys Berinchyk (19–0, 9 KOs, Ukraine) and an American contender Keyshawn Davis (12–0, 8 KOs).

The opponent of the Ukrainian boxer is confident that he will win this fight and therefore plans his steps in the future:

“After the fight with Berinchyk, I have no need to stay in this weight. I am much bigger than Shakur Stevenson, for whom this category is the maximum, and for me it is only the beginning.

There are many options – I’ll probably do a unification with one of the champions. After I beat Berinchyk, I want to enter the ring against all the champions of my weight. I will compete in this division for as long as I want,” Davis said.

Earlier, the Olympic champion said that he will cheer against Berinchyk, as he plans to fight Davis.
