“As a result of the negotiation process… 25 Russian servicemen were returned. In return, 25 prisoners of war of the Armed Forces were handed over,” the message reads.
As reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, mediation efforts of a humanitarian nature were provided by the United Arab Emirates.
Representatives of the Ukrainian authorities have not yet confirmed the information about the exchange.
