In Warsaw, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, spoke about the “ambitious goal” of opening 5-6 negotiating clusters with the EU this year.

Details: Zelenskyi met with the Ukrainian community and discussed important issues of unity, the country’s European integration course, the approach of a just peace, as well as support for Ukrainians currently living abroad.

Separately, the head of state shared his expectations from the Polish presidency of the EU Council. During these six months, Ukraine expects to open three negotiating clusters on joining the European Union.

Zelensky’s direct speech: “We understand that our Polish colleagues are ready for two, but we will do everything to open three.

Then – Denmark: we want to open three more clusters. But let’s see how it will be.

We have an ambitious goal of opening 5-6 clusters. In principle, all can be opened this year, if it works out. We will try to do it all.”
