On Wednesday, January 16, fighters of the 12th Special Forces Brigade of the Azov National Guard captured 23 Russian invaders in the Toretsk direction.

According to the information of the Azov fighters, among the captured Russians there are both those occupiers who surrendered voluntarily, as well as those found in basements or captured during the assaults.

“These soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces were lucky to survive. All of them were captured by fighters of the 12th Azov brigade during the fighting in the Toretsk direction. The captives are in a satisfactory condition and in adequate conditions of detention,” the message reads.

The military of the aggressor countries will be transferred to the relevant services.

“We hope that in the near future they will be exchanged for captured Ukrainian defenders,” the Azov brigade added.
