A traitor who was part of the intelligence network of the Russian General Staff in Mykolaiv was sentenced to 15 years in prison

According to the evidence base of the Security Service, a member of the agent network of Russian military intelligence (better known as the game), who spied in Mykolaiv, received a real prison term. This was reported by the press service of the SBU, writes UNN.

SBU counterintelligence neutralized the enemy cell in May 2022. Then 5 Russian agents were detained on the territory of the regional center.

One of them is a former military woman who worked in the city’s donation center and had access to personal data of patients, including military personnel.

On the task of the curator, the convict tried to identify and “bleep” to the Russian occupiers the location of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Mykolaiv. She intended to send the received information to the Russian game through a resident of the enemy agency – Viktor Loginov,

At the beginning of the full-scale war, he lived in Kherson and went to cooperate with the occupiers during the occupation of the city.

The security service prematurely exposed the Russian agent and thus foiled the enemy’s plans.

Based on the evidence collected by the SBU, the agent was found guilty of ch. 2 Art. 15, ch. 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (completed attempt to commit treason under martial law).

The court sentenced her to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Also, a resident of the Russian intelligence agency was charged with treason in absentia. Comprehensive measures are underway to find him and punish him.
