The Verkhovna Rada passed laws on the extension of martial law in Ukraine for another 90 days, until May 9, 2025, MPs Oleksiy Honcharenko (“European Solidarity”) and Yaroslav Zheleznyak (“Voice”) reported.
“The Council voted for Law No. 12404 on another extension of the martial law in Ukraine. There are 315 in favor. Next is the signing by the president,” deputy Zheleznyak wrote.
He specified that this is the 14th time that the parliament has voted for martial law.
By another decision, the parliament continued the general mobilization.
The preliminary vote for the extension of martial law and mobilization took place on October 29, 2024. Then they were also extended for 90 days.
