According to him, the first step was the establishment of a regulatory framework for issuing electronic referrals for military service for conscripts.
“Our goal is to create a modern, transparent VLK system that minimizes corruption risks and bureaucratic obstacles. Thanks to digitalization, this process will become much more convenient for everyone,” wrote Umyerov.
Also, the Ministry of Defense continues to work on new regulations to further simplify the procedure for both conscripts and military personnel.
From now on, the VLK will also take into account the decisions of the expert teams for assessing the daily functioning of a person, which replaced the MSEK from January 1. The updated provisions meet modern standards and needs.
“I am convinced that these changes will help restore public trust in the VLK system, make it fair and effective,” the head of the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
Earlier, an interdepartmental meeting was held in the Office of the President of Ukraine, at which the Ministry of Defense presented the plan for digitalization of the VLK.
The government approved the draft law, which provides for the liquidation of medical and social expert commissions (MSEK). Instead of MSEK, there will be teams of practicing doctors who will work in the strongest hospitals of a capable network of medical facilities.
