Full schedule of celebrations. Where and when to watch Donald Trump’s inauguration

The main public part of Donald Trump’s inauguration will take place on January 20 in the center of Washington, between the US Capitol, near which the president-elect will take the oath, and the White House, where he will go afterwards to watch the parade of military units and bands.

The culminating event of the inauguration — the swearing in of Donald Trump as President of the United States and JD Vance as Vice President — is scheduled at 12:00 (19:00 Kyiv time) on Monday, January 20.

And the parade, which Trump will watch from the White House, should begin with Fr 15:00 (22:00 Kyiv time).

The inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20 is scheduled to be broadcast on all major American channels and official resources, including:

• on the NV website (the video will be broadcast on January 20)
• on the White House website
• on ABC, CBS, CNN, CSPAN, Fox News, MSNBC, NBC and PBS, including their websites and YouTube online
• in the Voice of America broadcast with Ukrainian translation (the video will be available on January 20)

As expected, the broadcast of the official part of the ceremonies should begin on January 20 at 11:00 (18:00 Kyiv time).

The schedule for Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20 is roughly as follows:

• service at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington;
• a tea ceremony in the White House, which should be a symbolic farewell to Joe and Jill Biden before Donald and Melania Trump become the owners of the residence again;
• 19:00 Kyiv time (12:00 in Washington) — the beginning of official public celebrations, the swearing-in of Trump and Vance near the west facade of the US Capitol;
• farewell to former President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris;
• the ceremony of signing the inaugural documents by Donald Trump in the presidential hall of the US Congress in the Capitol;
• an inaugural luncheon at the Capitol with Trump, congressmen and a number of guests;
• the ceremony of Trump’s departure from the Capitol to the White House;
• 22:00 Kyiv time (15:00 in Washington) — a parade on Pennsylvania Avenue and a review of the troops by the President of the United States from the White House, up to 7,500 parade participants are expected;
• the ceremony of signing the first presidential decrees in the Oval Office in the White House;
• a series of inaugural balls in Washington: where Trump will deliver speeches.

On Tuesday, January 21, at 11:00 a.m (18:00 Kyiv time) a national prayer service will be held at the Washington National Cathedral, which will conclude the Inauguration Day ceremony.
