BEB is interested in information about the availability of accounts, the balance of funds on them, debiting and/or crediting operations, payment assignment, identification data of counterparties, account numbers of counterparties, as well as information about telecommunication connections of the “Bank-Client” system between the telecommunication means of the bank and the enterprise.
We will remind you that for several years now, the state-owned enterprise “Ukrvugilya” has been demanding from PJSC “Centerenergo” to return UAH 582 million in debt for the delivered coal. Of this amount, UAH 548.5 million is principal debt, UAH 13.4 million is interest, UAH 2.99 million is 3% annual, and UAH 2.95 is inflationary losses.
In March 2024, NABU and SAP referred the case to the court regarding the task of the state-owned company “Centrenergo” in excess of UAH 176 million in damages. Three people were previously charged. We are talking about ex-member of the directorate of PJSC “Centrenergo” Oleksandr Uvarov, ex-head of the company’s department Kateryna Tokar and Andriy Korotkevich-Leshchenko – the head of the private company “United Energy”, which is associated with Igor Kolomoiskyi.
The figures in the case received suspicions, and then accusations of abuse of official position and official forgery. They were informed of the suspicions in May 2023, and the materials regarding their accomplices were allocated to a separate proceeding.
