According to him, as a result of the joint operation, the following were affected:
- Aleksin chemical plant, Tula region, after SBU drone strikes, “a large fire was recorded”
- ammunition warehouses (FAB, guided air bombs, cruise missiles) at Engels airfield, Saratov region; SBU drones “achieved their goals”, the fire is still going on
- Saratov Oil Refinery, the special services record a large-scale fire
- Bryansk Chemical Plant: “direct hits of rockets on the facility and a large fire with subsequent detonations were recorded”
“The SBU, together with the Defense Forces, continues to work on enemy military facilities and enterprises that work for the Russian military-industrial complex. “Every affected warehouse with ammunition, refinery, oil depot or chemical plant is a painful blow to the ability of the Russian Federation to wage war in Ukraine,” added a source in the service.
Earlier, the military of the Unmanned Systems Forces reported strikes on the infrastructure of the military airfield in Engels and the Bryansk Chemical Plant on the night of January 14.

Earlier, the Russian authorities reported on the attack of drones on Engels and Kazan. In particular, the governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin, said that an industrial enterprise was damaged as a result of the attack.
Also, late in the evening on the eve, a combined strike was carried out in the Bryansk region. Governor Oleksandr Bogomaz claimed that all targets were defeated. The geolocation of the video of the explosions in the Bryansk region confirms that the target of the Ukrainian strike could be not only the ammunition depot near Bryansk, but also the factory for the production of explosives in the city of Siltse.
