The official decided to hold a rematch between American boxers Devin Haney (31–0, 15 KOs) and Ryan Garcia (24–1, 20 KOs). The first fight took place on April 20 last year – Garcia completely dominated the ring and confidently defeated his opponent by decision of the judges. After the fight, it turned out that Ryan had taken banned substances – the result of the match was annulled, the defeat of Haney was canceled, and Garcia was suspended for a year.
After that scandalous meeting, Ryan declared that he was not going to return to the ring and hung up his gloves on a nail. However, it has now become known that Turki Al-Sheikh held negotiations with the boxers and persuaded them to meet in the ring a second time.
The date and place are still unknown and will be announced later. The day before, it became known about another megafight – on the initiative of Al-Sheikh, Terence Crawford and Saul Alvarez, who are included in the P4P rating, will fight.
