Russia continues to trade in stolen Ukrainian grain. Ukraine intends to take appropriate tough measures against the countries that buy it.

This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

“Russia continues to trade in stolen Ukrainian grain. Anyone who accepts it is complicit in the theft. We see every relevant movement and action. We handed over notes of protest to the relevant parties, warning them about the consequences of such illegal activity,” said Sybiga.

According to him, Ukraine has data confirming the origin of grain and the ways of its transportation from temporarily occupied Ukrainian ports.

Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will once again officially inform the International Maritime Organization that Russian ships are turning off their transponders.

“If these illegal actions continue, we will take tough measures, including using all available political, economic and legal tools. As a result, all vessels, companies and organizations involved may be subject to severe sanctions. It’s time to stop this theft in broad daylight,” Sibiga emphasized.

It should be noted that Russia supplies grain, probably stolen from Ukraine, to the Houthis, who control most of Yemen.

We will remind you that the main intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MO) has launched an Internet site called War&Sanctions. The resource publishes the data of ship captains transporting stolen Ukrainian grain.

Earlier we wrote that in Ukraine, law enforcement officers reported suspicion to the captain of the foreign sea vessel USKO MFU. He exported agricultural products through the closed sea ports of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The detained captain of the USKO MFU vessel will be tried for illegally entering the port of temporarily occupied Sevastopol, from where he exported Ukrainian grain. He faces 5 years in prison.
