In the evening of January 13, Russian troops attacked Chuguiv in Kharkiv region with “Shakhed”. A child was injured as a result of the attack, Oleg Synegubov, the head of the regional military administration, said.

“An enemy ammunition hit the courtyard of a multi-story building. The girl, aged 1 year and 7 months, was treated on the spot, and she was diagnosed with an acute reaction to stress,” the post states.

According to the local authorities, the passenger car and the glazing of the windows of the five-story building were damaged.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

In his New Year’s address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that during 2024, in the course of Russian air attacks, air defense forces shot down 1,310 cruise and ballistic missiles and 7,800 Iranian Shaheds.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are targeted.
