Georgian fighter Kakha Tilidze, who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, died in the Zaporozhye region.

Details: The publication “Radio Liberty” reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia confirmed the information about the death of Tilidze. However, the exact circumstances and place of his death remain unknown.
According to Mikheil Saakashvili, Tilidze died in the Zaporozhye direction. Saakashvili also said that Tilidze once worked in his presidential guard, and later went to America. In New York, he finished the ranger course and began training the Ukrainian military, and later went to the front line, where he died in battle.
Saakashvili’s direct speech: “He was a bright, extremely intelligent, very beautiful and noble person. A great patriot of Georgia and Ukraine. He left behind three children and many people who miss him very much, including me.
All of us who are still alive must do everything so that the sacrifice of the best representatives of our nations is not in vain.”
Details: Radio Liberty’s Georgian service adds that Tilidze often published videos from the front and talked about the events on the front line. In August 2024, he took part in hostilities in the Kharkiv direction.
Also, according to the publication, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, about 80 Georgian soldiers who fought on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have died.
