In the vicinity of Pokrovsk of the Donetsk region, the occupiers, who have superior forces and resources, are conducting active offensive actions, they want to seize the nearby villages in order to partially encircle the city.

Tregubov’s direct speech: “There (near Pokrovsk – ed.) are a number of small settlements. There are Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zelene, Promin, Novy Trud, etc. The Russians are trying to grab every house there and advance further.”
Details: As the spokesman said, the occupiers are trying to partially surround Pokrovsk, as well as take control of the forest strip through which supplies to the city go.
“I wouldn’t say that as of now they have succeeded, but they are trying very hard and have a large resource. First of all, the resource is human, technical, and logistical,” the spokesman emphasized.
