Burrage — back at a Grand Slam for the first time in a year — is good friends with British No 1 Boulter.

She had wrist surgery early last year before an ankle injury extended her absence to six months.

Burrage said: “I still have PTSD every time I run for a drop shot. I am not practising with Katie ever again.

“Every time I’m on the practice court with her, I hurt myself. Genuine.

“I fractured my knee against her. Done my ankle.”

In contrast, Burrage herself has proved she can be good for your health on the tennis court – as she SAVED the day for an ill ballboy at Wimbledon two years ago.

She gave him the classic combo of… a bag of Percy Pigs, an isotonic drink and energy gel.

But unfortunately she believes she’s more likely to be hopping around in pain than with energy when she comes near Boulter.

She also admitted she considered retiring, having been No 84 in the world less than a year ago but now sitting at No 173.

However, she feels she can get back into the top 100.

She added: “When I got injured I was at my career high, which is a tough one to take. But it gives me belief that I can get back to that level.

“With the tennis that I’ve been playing in the last month, I would say I’m getting back to that level.

“Knowing that I’ve been there already, it obviously gives you more belief.

“If someone tells me, ‘I think you can be top 50’, well, I have not been top 50, so I’m not going to believe them.

“But being top 100, I believe I can belong there.”
