This monument is part of a large-scale campaign to glorify pro-Russian narratives and Ukrainian-phobic figures, which the occupiers are implementing throughout the captured territory. It is known that a register of such “monuments” has been created, the purpose of which is to eradicate Ukrainian identity and plant propaganda ideas.
